Spam....you can't get this in tin...

I've noticed that Spam is hitting my (junk) email a lot more since I came to Blogger. Now, I'm getting spam from my own email address! Is this happening to anyone else? I can't too well report myself as Spam, can I?

I wonder how it's working...have I been hijacked and they are using my name to send to a lot of people, or are they just using my name to send to me because I would more than likely open it? I don't think my password has been compromised, but I feel kinda....compromised, you know?

  2. I'm getting about the same amount of spam; its amazing how much junk there is in email; glad that a tree isn't being used with all of it and its all done electronically; I don't think your email address is compromised; I've gotten spam from myself too in the past; I'm not sure how those spammers do the things they do; hope someone can enlighten us on this

in the meantime, enjoy your day :)

  4. I've never gotten Spam from myself but I've always got a lot of it. I do go down thru it and make sure it's all Spam before I hit the "delete all" button, however.

  5. I've gotten spam from myself in the past too... Lord only knows how they do that! I have noticed an increase in spam on one email address I have, but not on the one associated with my blogger account, so I don't know if there's a connection. I made a huge "oops" yesterday in regard to spam in my inbox... I went click happy reporting a whole bunch of spam and accidently reported an email from my mother! Yikes!! I hope she doesn't get in some kind of trouble!

  7. Hi Meg! I am getting about the same amount. I would recommend you change your passwords, if you feel your machine has been compromised. Best wishes and have a blessed day!
